227km/h

22nd August
Was having lunch with Nelson and Alex at MS. Talked about the tuning and decided to go Ubi and look for a speed meter for my car, so that I know what's my speed after the 180km/h on our stock speedometer. So Nelson and I head down to do some search. End up installing the Blitz Power SJ. It can read speed, 0-100km/h timing, and some other functions. But I mainly got it to read speed and 0-100km/h timing.

Transferred the position of my turbo timer together with my power SJ.

Had dinner with Nelson and we had this super delicious satay which we came up at Geylang Lor 7. It's a must try!

Went home to rest after dinner.

23rd August
Carl emailed me a list of stickers to be done for our Viperization. He came up with a few design to choose from. Prefer the 1st and 2nd design.

Picked Maddie at her place, and we went to the temple together. Been some time we went to the temple to pray already. Had a drink near the temple and sent her home cos she has a lunch appointment.

I went to JDM to discuss about the CF bonnet that we've ordered and also the design of the spoiler which we have sent to Taiwan to get it done.

Reach home late evening and took a nap. Went out to have supper at Changi Village.
Had this hot plate prawn which I quite like.

24th August
Nelson went to JB in the morning to get his car done up. Since I'm free, I went in to install my Anti Roll Bar (ARB). Also to extend out the exhaust. The stock exhuast is too short for my rear bumper and it's leaving soot on the bumper, making it very dirty.

Had it extended for RM45.

Came back in the evening for the meet up at GV. Tried my top speed and managed to do a 216km/h. Wooo Hooo!

Went home for an early rest cos spent most of the day in JB. Tiring and sweaty.

25th August
Finally my long awaited birthday present is ready!! Went to collect it in the eveing before heading to Jac's house for dinner.

This is what I got. A cross stitch of a baby clad in Dragon's attire. I am born in the year of Dragon. Thus this is appropriate.

No wonder it took so long... 13 days after my birthday... I reckon it took a few days to have it framed up. To do a cross stitch like this, would take some time. But more than a week? Maybe she got this after my birthday, took some time to stitch it and then the framing. Anyway, since it's belated, it doesn't matter anymore.

To think she got such appropriate present, stitched it herself, and got it framed. Shall give her the credits. Now what will be my present for 2007? Maybe I won't be in Singapore then. But there's always DHL! Hehehe...

My friends arranged a steamboat dinner at Jac's house. He and his wife prepared the food and this dinner is sort of to celebrate my birthday with the rest of friends who can't join us in Malacca.

Took a pic of sunset while on the way to Jac's place.

Our steamboat dinner!

Went to JB after dinner cos some guys from Malaysia Airtrek Club had came down from KL to JB. Met them for coffee, while Thomas, Nelson and Dennis had dinner with them.

Left for Singapore at around 2am. Reached home so so so tired!

This traffic police drove past me on my way back. Good thing I wasn't speeding!

26th August
Woke up noon time receiving an sms from Dennis that he had left 6 cartons of drinks at her mum's work place, and need me to collect it before 1pm. Went to collect the drinks cos Patrick had organised a BBQ at the workshop today.

Went to Ten Mile Junction shopping centre to buy some beer for the BBQ. There is this supermarket Seng Siong which has become really popular with their low price and they have quite a few outlets around Singapore. Bought this Nutella chocolate which reminds me of my childhood. When I was young, I use to buy one small pack of this to have as a snack. And it's been many years I last seen it.

Called Nelson to join me for lunch since I was around where he stay. We circled around the area and finally had lunch at Yew Tee. Never been there before at all.

We went to GL after lunch since he has to go back to his office. Had coffee at one of the coffee shop before we parted ways.
It was evening time already by and I have to go to Patrick's workshop for BBQ. BBQ food is as usual. Had some liqour and I didn't stay long, cos felt sleepy after out for the day. So left early after I had my fill. Moreover will be going to Malacca with the guys from Malaysia Airtrek Club. They will be going back to KL the next day and will stop by Malacca for dinner. Sammie was asking me when I will be going to Malacca again cos she misses the food there. And since they are going, we decided to join them.

27th August
Surprisingly Sammie gave me morning call to wake me up for our trip to Malacca! I am the one who usually wake her up so this is really shocking! But I found out she didn't sleep for the night cos she's afraid she can't wake up! She can be a sound sleeper, to think in the past I have to call her more than 20 times then she will answer the phone!

Pick her up at her new place and went to JB to meet the rest for lunch at this popular Bak Kut Teh in JB.

Steaming hot Bak Kut Teh. Cooked with charcoal. Alan, his wife, Sammie and I had 2 big claypots of Bak Kut Teh and chicken to ourselves!

After lunch, we drove to Malacca, our next stop. Took us about one and a half hour to reach Malacca. Sammie's license was suspended in Singapore due to drink driving. And since we're in Malaysia, and the law ain't that strict, she was so happy like a kid when I let her drive my car. Since she has driven my car before, I don't mind as well. Once she got herself comfortable with the car, she just floor the accelerator! And within a while, she topped my speed of 216km/h to 223km/h! She's so deprieved of driving and the speed!

We stopped at one of the popular Satay Luk Luk stall to have something light. And also to wait for Richard.

William and GuoQiang

Alan taking some photos

Sammie can really EAT!

It's actually a variety of food and then they use satay sauce to cook it. DELICIOUS!!

We left for dinner once Richard arrived. GuoQiang brought us to have the best seafood in Malacca.

Sammie eating all the garlic on the scallops.

And this is the BIGGER scallops!

Big oysters!

All concentrating on the wonderful spread!

Don't fight over the food!

Thumbs up!

Dinner was done at around 2200hrs and Sammie have to rush back for a BBQ which one of her friend organised. So we left for Singapore with the rest who needs to go back to KL. Except for GuoQiang and his girlfriend who will be in Malacca.

On the way back, I managed to clock my top speed at 227km/h! Could have increase a bit if not for the wide bender.

Reach home about 0100hrs. Dead tired.

28th August
Tereza and her family arrived Singapore yesterday, but I was in Malacca so wasn't able to pick them up. Suppose to meet them today but I need to go to Thomas's office to burn some mp3 which I promised him days back. So I pakced all my CDs in a small luggage bag, bought laksa for lunch and head down to his office. Nelson and Leslie dropped by for lunch together.

This laksa stall I've patronised for the past years is really good! the lady boss knows me and she is also popular in the media. Recently she won a beatuy contest.

And these are her photos of her slimming down and being more and more beautiful. This is what I call aging gracefully.

Spent the whole afternoon in Thomas's office and only to meet Tereza and her family for dinner. We went to this famous kopitiam which serves very delicious crabs in Ang Mo Kio.

After dinner, Nelson joined us for supper at Geylang, since her dad hadn't had much cos he's allergic to seafood. Took them to try the satay which we discovered! And her dad loves the frog leg porridge at Lorong 9.

Sent them back to their hotel at around 2300hrs. I met up with Nelson after that to go rounding at Mohd Sultan and head back to GL to have coffee and then home to rest.

29th August
Spent the whole afternoon flat visiting cos Tereza intend to rent a place for her brother and also she can stay when she or her mum comes to visit her brother. Went to a few flats and I reckon I've covered all four corners of Singapore. Brought them to eat chicken rice at Selegie which is popular

Visited chief in the hospital. He was admitted cos of Colon Cancer and had to be operated. Good thing the cancer cells didn't spread and everything is under control. We went to visit him and left to view another flat. Saw this Honda Oddessy with a huge spoiler! I always call those car with huge spoliers, picnic table! So Fugly!

We had some time inbetween visiting another flat, so we went to Queensway shopping centre to look for James. Cos her dad and her wanna buy shades. So brought them to James's shop. While shopping around, I got myself 2 pairs of Crocs slippers. Surprising they got my size and it fitted well. It was really comfortable and light.

Long Sheng is arriving today from Shanghai cos his documentations is finally done. While I send Tereza back to the hotel, cos she need to discuss with Desmond regarding the issues about her brother's lodging and studies. So only her dad, mum and I went to the airport to pick LS. We went for dinner without Tereza and Desmond cos they had it in the hotel. Brought them to have pig organs mee sua, cos the mum likes it.

Sent them back to the hotel and I head home to enjoy the 2 whiskies that Desmond and Tereza got me. Her mum also got me some brazillian coffee.

Downed 2 glasses of whiskies which tasted differently, and went to bed after a while. Slept really well throughout the night!
