Malacca Day 2

13th August
It was a cold sleep. Aircon in the room is strong! Woke up trying to find it but was too tired. The TV is left on through the night and it's kindof eerie when I went to the toilet. Afterall it's the 7th month. Woken up by the Candle Blower for breakfast. I asked them if anyone left the TV on, apparently no one off it. So it must be someone who forgot to off it. :P

Breakfast provided by the hotel was pretty good. Nothing to complain about. Except for the bowl of springs onions that Elaine had! It's so scary! A bowl full of spring onions with just a bit of porridge! Thank god she ain't gonna be in my car, and we won't be sleeping in the same room anymore. Hahaha.. :P

My porridge.

Elaine's porridge.

Dropped the rest to shop at Mahkota parade shopping centre while I went to the sticker shop to get some stickers done. Intend to get the whole car done up but they need like half a day, but we will be leaving Malacca at 1500hrs, thus not enough time to get it done. Moreover it's raining. It rained once I parked my car! What luck... So just got some other stickers made.

We had lunch at Bei Zhan, which Kwok (Candle blower) said it's popular among Singaporeans. The pork belly that Kwok recomended is really really good! The steam white promfret is good too!

Bei Zhan.

The pork belly, just below the hand.

The spread! Look at how big the fish is!

Gone in 30 minutes!

Well, it's back to Singapore after lunch. Time really pass fast, and we had so much fun just in 2 days.

Elaine may be got her ship, but she's still harping on wanting to eat durains. So we had some at the fruit stores just before the 2nd link custom.

One durainstified Elaine.

I bought some mangos and rambutans as well.

Finally, home by 2200hrs after sending Jac and his wife home, followed by Teo. After hours of driving, went to bed pretty early, tired sure is.

So much for just 2 days of trip to Malacca. Wonder when will be the next time we can have such a big group of friends going for a trip. Seng and KL would have joined us if not for their new born baby, Caden. Also for Zhen and YY, who would have been there if not for their busy schedules. And also Zhu who is celebrating her nephew's birthday. If all of us can make it, the outing is sure to be hilarious! Hahaha... ;)
