Do-Luck

Finally the Do-Luck bars I've ordered last December have arrived. Finally!

Was rushing in the day to get my stuff sorted out before I leave for Shanghai the next day. And finally got a called from IP at 1700hrs that the bars are here. So I rushed down at about 1730hrs, and I doubt they have enough time to install all the bars. Which I didn't guessed wrongly. Instead they installed what could be installed in the fastest possible time before they close shop.

Will have to wait till I come back from Shanghai then install the rest of the bars. Need to do some adjustments to my exhaust cos it's blocking some of the bars that needed to be installed.

Picked up Long Sheng and one of his friend at Paragon and met up with Nelson at Cherry's Kopitiam to have dinner. Finally got home at 2300hrs. And I've yet to pack my luggage!!

Milo Peng! (Ice Milo)

Had the best Milo Peng ever! Was at JDM to get them to help me install the cable to my car's head unit so I can plug in my iPod nano to listen to songs in my iTunes, rather than burning copies of CDs and keep them in the car which can be rather messy.

Since Daniel didn't wanna charge me for the installation fee, though I gotta make a trip down to Sim Lim tower to buy the cable which only cost me $6.00. The installation was rather simple which I can also do it on my own, but of cos it's better to let the expert do it. It would have cost me $30-$50 to get it done at other places. But cos Daniel is a friend, FOC. Instead I buy them drinks for this help.

And this is how I got to drink the best Milo Peng ever!


Now I can plug in either my iPod, Nano or Shuffle to play music. Off goes those CDs.






I spent some time to relocate the wiring myself, and finally decided to place it this way.

Sammie's cooking

Finally got the chance to try her cooking. Then again, it's leftovers from the steamboat she had the other day. She just have to do up the soup though. Was actually there to help her re-drill the hole for her table top which the screw is falling out. Also to fix up the curtains in the other room.

The best thing was, she used the wrong kind of rice. She cooked Japanese rice with the amount of water for normal rice. End up, we had sticky rice. Hahaha...


After dinner, we chit chatted for a while before meeting Nelson at Cherry's kopitiam. Had him waiting since 2100hrs and I reached there at 2300hrs. Sammie and I were talking about issues that we forgotten the time. Hehehe.. :P

SPUG dinner

Had dinner with some of my friends from SPUG. It's been some time we met each other. Partly the reason why I had to organise this dinner is because Victor was complaining where did I MIA to. Well, long story cut short, dinner was at V8 Cafe in Bugis. Preety neat place.

Home cook food

It's been some time I had home cook food. Woke up late in the evening and too stoned to leave the house. Been out most of the time and hardly had time at home in the evening to eat at home. Since I just woke up in the evening, and don't feel like going out, ate at home instead.

Later in the night, had kopi with Nelson, Unc Alex at Cherry's kopitiam. All of use had our laptop with us. So high tech in kopitiam loh... Hahaha... :P

Wasn't feeling sleepy since I just woke up in the evening, went to JB to wash car and pump petrol. Anyway I gotta be at C&C to replace the tie rod. Thus decided to stay awake till morning. Reached C&C early, had breakfast at the market nearby.

Maybe I've not been to markets often. And I saw this washing point right in the middle of the market.

1st to reach C&C, at 0700hrs! By the time it's 0745hrs, already got like 20 cars in the queue.


Met Nelson for kopi at GL, and came upon this association, which is beside the kopitiam we always had kopi. Didn't notice it in the past until today. It's called Heng Heng Siah. "Heng Heng" in hokkien means Lucky. "Siah" is the direct translation of hokkien, meaning association. But "Siah" is also a slang in Spore. So "Heng Heng Siah" can mean, lucky lucky manz... Hehehe..


Went home to take a nap, before picking Sammie up from the supermarket. She's done some shopping to prepare for steamboat the next day. And I also gotta borrow the luggage from her for my trip in Shanghai. Timing a bit tight cos she had to prepare the food, change, then send her to Boulevard to meet her friends for a birthday party, then I gotta pick Anthony and his stewardess girlfriend to the airport. He's leaving for Shanghai while his girlfriend leaving for some country.

Anyway, was caught in the jam and couldn't pick them up to the airport. Instead met them in the airport for dinner. Yupe. Hadn't had dinner till 2300hrs.

Went home with the luggage and wanted to end my day early. Saw Maddie online and she asked me out for supper, since she just got back from partying and feeling hungry. I wanted to go JB so we head for JB for supper, wash car and pump petrol.

Reached home when the sun was about to rise. Really have to sleep.

Rainy Monday

Finally it's raining! It helps to clear the haze a bit. And the rain woke me up! It's already 1600hrs when it rained. Maddie just woke up as well, and we met up for breakfast cum lunch cum dinner at Ampang NiangTou Fu in Katong.




My 1st time eating there to think I stay around this area for so long. The ones I had before at other places not as good as this.

Maddie got a bbq to attend later so I met up with Nelson for kopi at Lor7, as usual, one of our hangout in the evening. Had some satay and left for home to take a nap. Not enough sleep for the past few days.


Came home, do some sorting out of my folders on my iBook, transfer and edit photos I've taken lately and enjoying a glass of Macallan before sleeping. And I hope I can sleep early tonight. Elvin just called to ask me out for kopi. Just don't have the mode to go out anymore.

Must get use to my tidy room now. Was telling Maddie maybe I couldn't sleep well after I've tided my room. Just felt something missing and suddenly so tidy, it doesn't feel like my room anymore, thus can't get use to it. So now, I must stay in my room more often to get use of the tidiness, before it gets messy again. Or maybe, I shall just messed it up and will sleep better. Hahahaha... :P

Hazy Sunday, Lazy Sunday

Got woken up by Daniel at 1230hrs to check with me on our SMAC orders on the CF bonnets. Since he will be at the SLC photoshoot for owners with gunmetal and black rides, I met him at the photoshoot place. Had my lunch at MS before meeting him there at 1400hrs.

Met up with Andre to pick up the Tiger OS cd for my iBook and we went to Cafe 107 for prata. Asked Nelson and Joseph along as well since they're free. Chit chatted till 1800hrs and went home to sleep.

Since my room is now so tidy, and it's been some time I enjoyed a whisky, while installing the Tiger OS, had some Laphroaig.


Suppose to have a good sleep after the whisky but got call from Elvin. Ask me out for a drink, afterall it's been some time we catch up. Felix came along as well. So we head down the pub at TP. Left the place at 0100hrs since it's a Sunday and all pubs closed at 0100hrs.


Went for supper at GL, reach home 0430hrs. Still can't get to sleep till 0630hrs, after chatting with Maddie online. She still got the craving for frog leg prorridge but too bad it's too late already. The shop would be closed, again, by the time we reached there. And now, I owe her two, one for the KFC which I rejected her, and this, for not being able to satisfy her craving. Women..... :P




Took these on the way back from GL. It's the Hari Raya festive season and this stretch of road is decorated. I have to say it looks nicer than the Xmas lightings in town. ;)

SLC Charity Event -Donation Drive Thru for The Children's Aid Society

Lazy Saturday morning, or rather should be noon. While part of the SMAC guys went to Sepang for track, I'm stuck in Singapore. Why? Cos promise Irene to attend this charity event that she and her club is organising. 1200hrs, a few of SMAC guys (4 actually) met up at AV village to have lunch and kopi before heading down together.

We moved out at 1300hrs since it's quite near where we are. The charity drive thru is at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Reached there in 15mins time, stayed around to chit chat.

We parted ways at about 1430hrs. Headed home to sort out my iBook since I just got it back from Apple centre. Was sent in to replace the motherboard and harddisk. Took a nap and woke up for dinner. Nelson called to ask if I wanna join then in Kulai for dinner. Just too lazy to join them there and it will take me about 1 hr plus to drive into Malaysia, alone. So scrap the idea. Terry called me late evening and ask if there's any programmes. Since the guys are coming back soon, we arranged for kopi session at Cafe 107.

Went in to JB to pump petrol and saw Gabriel. Sold his civic for a suzuki swift sport. Nice ride. Reach home at 0200hrs. Cannot get to sleep. Maddie ask me out for frog leg porridge at 0430hrs!! Gosh, woman's craving really hard to forget. The other day, didn't go for KFC with her, thus this time, cannot reject her anymore. Pick her up from her place, head down to the place but it was closed!


End up, we had dim sum at 126. But I didn't really ate much. She's the one who's hungry anyway. :P

Sent her home, and I got home at 0630hrs. Still can't get to sleep. Watched a DVD and finally konked out at 0800hrs.

Spring cleaning

Gosh. It took me 3 days to tidy up my room! But of cos not full 3 days. Took me total of 14hours to pack. Had to sleep in the other room cos of the dust and mess! I'm so proud of myself! It's been more than 2 years since I've really tidied my room and it's in such a mess, I finally took the initiative to pack it before I leave for Shanghai.

Besides throwing away bags and bags of stuff, cleared few stacks of magazines and text books as well. And I realized I've stuff which I bought, left them aside and didn't even use them. I also found 2 photo frames which I bought 4 years back, and collecting dust! The price tag and receipt is still in the box!

Talk about dust, my room really coated with a thick layer of dust on the shelves and cabinets. I nearly suffocated of dust, and to thick the weather is already hazy outside, inside my room is dusty!

I've to move my bed to the other room. Some stuff on the floor are taken down from the TV rack to clean up the dust.


All my bags which I just chuck one side. And to think I have 15 bags in total. Helmets, boxes, etc etc. All the miscellaneous stuff which I just throw there. This is also where I found most of my stuff which I bought and left it there for months and years, didn't use them at all!


These are movie posters with a friend of mine working in the movie industry gave to me. I had store them nicely but it was lying there for years cos couldn't find enough space to put them up. See how thick the dust is! I was shock too! And the door leads to the blacony, which I didn't use, being that all the stuff blocking the door and making it impossible to access. :P

I fully utilised all the shelves to keep my stuff neatly. Well, may not be neat enough, but it's organised.

10. Table, with only a photo printer, bought but didn't use. May sell it away. My iBook, but I don't usually use it on the table. Only on the floor, while I lie on my bed watching TV as well. Those smaller drawers are for me to keep more miscellaneous stuff. Hehehe.. :P

On the left, is my camera cabinet, to keep my camera gadets and accessories. It's a huminity box to prevent fungus growing in the lenses and camera. On the right is my wardrobe. I got another wardrobe at the stairway.


On the left is my book shelf. Or rather, my magazine shelf. To think I've thrown almost 5 big stacks of magazines, I still have all these left. At the bottom are my DVDs. I shifted the movie posters behind the shelf. Doubt I will be putting them up. Most likely sell them away. All these movie posters can fetch quite a price. It's not those normal posters. These posters are printed on both front and back. Only cinemas get them.

The lamp on the right, I bought from Ikea 3 years back, used it for 1 month, kept it in the cupboard then. Either I will sell it away, if not, just leave it there. :P

Well, after 3 days and spending a total of 14 hours to tidy my room, I am truly proud and satisfied of my achievement! Not only will it stop my mum from the constant nagging, I can also sleep better with a neater room. Also in case any friends were to come over, I won't be so embarrased of the messy state, plus I will be more keen to invite them to stay over. Hehehe. :P

Kopikia, Lorongkia, Starkia

Had the best prata in my life. At Cafe 107. It was my breakfast, lunch and dinner at 1730hrs.
Woke up real late and met up with SMAC gang for kopi. Was suppose to meet baobei for dinner but she got tied up at work.


The following night, was suppose to have dinner with baobei. But I was delayed while helping Sammie to shift stuff from her parent's place to her newly rented condo. So instead I had dinner with Sammie.

Had supper in the night at Toa Payoh Lorong 5. This Ban Mian uses egg noddles as well, other than the thicker noodles. Something new. Not bad as well.


Starbucks coffee with Maddie. Nelson smsed me for kopi but I am already with Maddie at Starbucks. For the past weeks, I've been meeting Nelson and other bros for kopi in the day. We practically went around kopitiams in GL and our record was 5 kopitiams in a day. We spent like 2 hrs in each kopitiam, thus we were given the name, Kopikia. Cos we will go around different lorongs to have kopi at the kopitiam, we're called the lorongkia as well. After coffee, we will drive around the lorongs for "sight" seeing. And Starkia was given to me, cos I upgraded from normal kopitiam coffee to Starbucks's coffee! :P

Saint James Power Station

New club in town. Happen to be Moet & Chandon's event, thus it was really pack. We gave up the idea of queuing and left for supper instead.
