Happy Lunar Dog Year! Day 2 of CNY
Slept throughout the day only to wake up early evening. Been some time I had the chance to sleep so many hours and I managed to sleep for like 10hrs. Didn't feel afresh, but instead felt more tired... Anyway, my relatives were around and there were playing bacarat. As usual, I'm been made banker. Only played till 1900hrs and I went to my boss's place for dinner. Was home at around 2300hrs, and went straight to bed.

Came back from work and was tired. Only spend a bit of time with my relatives since they're already here in the house. Here are some video clips of my niece and nephew.

But it didn't take too long for me to go back to my room to take a nap. Got woken up by a few phone calls and my good buddies have arranged to go to one of their house for a gathering and gambling session. It's our CNY tradition to gather and have a gambling session and never once missed. It's also for us to update on each others' lives. Since we're most of the time busy with our own stuff and work, this is a yearly gathering which we never wanna miss.
Played till the wee morning, and home at 0545hrs. went straight to bed.

Happy Lunar Dog Year! Eve of CNY
Happy Lunar New Year to all!!
The day before Lunar New Year, went for a car wash and stayed home and took a nap till evening. And she's back from Darwin for CNY, and is suppose to come over my place for reunion dinner. So went to her place to pick her, which is literally east to west. Upon reaching, she's still sleeping, and complained she's tired, cos she went for a show the night before and reach home in the wee morning. So I gave her a choice, let her choose if she still wanna come along. Since she choose not to go, cos of her "I'm very tired" excuses, neither do I like to force one to change his/her mind, I went back home. And yes, I'm quite pissed of her change in mind. When she has the cheek to tell our common friend that she's going to my place for reunion dinner and followed by Chinatown stroll. End up, after I drove from east to west (and I better not be caught speeding, again), she tell me she's tired. FINE!
Anyway, went back home and had my reunion dinner, decided to stay home till midnight and do some praying for the new year. When the clock strikes 12, Cinderalla has to go. But for our chinese tradition, when the clock strikes 12, the minute it hits the new lunar year, we give prays and burn joss paper, to seek for a better new year ahead. And so, I did the praying and burning of joss paper while my mum pack the living room and placed CNY goodies on the table. Helped her hang the red cloth which I reckon in our chinese tradtion, it's for good luck.

After all the stuff are done, Devils called up and we met up for coffee. It's just for a short while and home by 0300hrs. Still gotta go to work in 2 hours time. Was suppose to go Chinatown for a stroll with her and our common friend. But after what she did this evening, which kindof pissed me, i didn't bother to call her. And she called our common friend and told her what happened, and she reckon I'm angry. Who won't! This period of time time while she's back, she better not complain I got no time for her. It's more like I spare time for her, yet she complain she's tired! And backing out last minute on decisions! When she goes back to Darwin, she has no right to nag at me and say I didn't spend time with her! She just didn't appreciate the effort I'd given! Sheesh!
Nonetheless, this is how I spend my CNY eve. Time for me to go home and enjoy the rest of the 1st day of CNY!

Of Treats, Tracking and Trekking! Final Episode
Sleep almost the whole of Monday and good thing I took off from work. Been uploading all the pictures into my ibook and going through the photos and video that the rest had taken as well. My maid didn't cook dinner and I'm too lazy and too comfortable on bed to leave the house. Was suppose to meet up with the Devils for coffee at MB but no one called till late. And come midnight, M came online, after coming back from her shopping. She also yet to have her dinner, although she ate a burger. Thus she asked if I wanna go out and have my dinner and she wanna go have a drink, and I thought why not. How can I turn down a pretty lady. :P
Fetch her from her place, head on down to MB and that's the only place we can think of for food and drinks. We stayed there like for 3hrs. Known her for only a few days and she's really quite a chatty person. One whom you won't get bored with cos she got plenty to talk about. Showed me her bandaged toe and told me about her episode at the doctor's clinic!

Reach home about 0230hrs, chat with M online for a while before hitting the sack, and from the conversation, found out that she's actually Singapore Top Model of 2004! Geesh! I vaguely knew she is a model, but didn't know she's actually Top model! All these while during the KL trip and such, didn't actually think she's big time in 2004! She gave me access to her ofoto photo album online and I got the chance to go through her photos taken during her peak where she visited countries like China, Korea, Russia, Hong Kong and many more to name. After going through her photos, went to bed around 0400hrs and woke up at 0500hrs for work.
Still not getting over the tireness from the trip, I practically stoned out at work. Left early and went to run some errands. Picked up some stuff that were left at the workshop and drove in to JB and leave the stuff which Devil T need. Didn't know Devil D is in town, if not could have just passed it to him and let him bring it to JB.
We'd arrange for steamboat in the evening and was suppose to fetch M, but couldn't make it back in time. By the time I cross the Singapore custom, it's already 1930hrs and dinner is set at 1930hrs! Told Devil D to fetch M instead since he's already in town and hanging around at Devil T's office. Who knows by the time they reached her place, M had already left! All because my phone's network were down. She tried calling me to confirm that Devil D is coming to pick her, for she's been waiting for almost 45mins. Thinking that they wouldn't be coming, she got Sis S to call Devil D that she'll be leaving the house, cos she don't have his number. But Sis S forgot about it! Hahahaha! What a mess!
And thinking I would be the last to reach, me and M turned out to be the earilest! Bumped into her at the traffic lights while she's in the cab. What a coincidence! In fact Bro N is the earilest, so he walked around PWP while waiting for us. By the time all arrived, it's already 2100hrs, and last order is 2200hrs. And as usual, we ordered a feast! End up we couldn't finish all the food, and packed the wan-tons and sui-kaos home.
Bro N had copied the video taken on our trip into VCD and we went to Bro C's Pub Underground to watch it. Anyway we've not been to his pub which is just adjacent of MB. Spent the evening there while we watched the VCD and some of them played pool. And god was the video funny!

We splited ways at midnight and as usual, send M home. Reach home myself around 0100hrs. No stars to view and so have to send her home! Somehow this star gazing thing with her came up during our ride up to KL. I sort of forgotten about how it started but I know we've made this "arrangement" to go star gazing one night. Don't think it will be anytime sooner cos she'll be going to JB to start on her new work where she'll be based there. Maybe JB's night sky will be better for star gazing. ;)

Of Treats, Tracking and Trekking! Episode 3
We woke up early in the morning for a heavy breakfast.

Once we're done with breakfast, we bought some stuff for the trekking which we think we'll need!
Sis S bought a huge bottle of water which looks like a bottle of cooking oil. Hardly see such a big bottle of water!
We went up to Fraiser hill again and this time is to take some pictures. The last trip up, we were speeding up the hill and having fun with the corners that we missed out the chance to take pictures.

After our photo taking, we went to the village where Mila has a friend staying there. And we got one of the villageman to look after our cars while we park near the trekking place.
The huts
Our look out! Good thing we got him to look after our cars. When we got back from our trekking, we heard from one of Mila's friend that someone's car got broken into near where we parked.
We prepare ourselves for trekking, and I brought along my back pack which weighs like 15kg, that consist of my tripod which easily weigh 3kg, plus some clothings and water. The whole trip was rather tedious cos we're climbing higher and higher and the path is not that easy to trek in fact. And with just a pair of slippers, it's not easy to cross the river, which got deeper and deeper, and the rocks are slippery with the algae on the rocks, and the sand is soft. With total of 6 rivers to cross in order to reach the mother fall, I slipped and fell in 2 crossing and got come cuts on both my feet. M slipped as well, broke her toe nail and she is in great pain. I salute her for her courage and endurance to complete the journey with her broken toe nail. And even with her mobile phone on a lanyard over her neck, she accidentally dropped her mobile phone into the river and the phone went dead, beyond repair.
After all the sweating, slips and fall, cuts and bruises, the river crossing, climing over deep holes and over tree trunks, we finally reached the mother fall! It was definitely worth all the cuts and bruises after reaching the mother fall! The whole journey up took us like 3 hrs and I bet we walked quite a distance. I couldn't believe I managed to complete the trek as well. When we reach the mother fall, and took a dip in it, all pain is gone! It's so so so comfortable lying in there and enjoy the cool water flowing through the body!

Same place as where we ate during the last trip. Behind Sungei Wang! Sis S recommended this chicken wings and her recommendation is really good! I bet no chicken wings in Singapore can win it!

But we were wrong! Thinking that we just had lunch/dinner not long and we're all still full. And we only wanted to have something light. Who knows, we end up eating more than we thought! M went to buy some Bak Kut Teh after all of us had our own food, oysters, finished the wings in no time, had desserts and some Bak Kwa! Talk about eating only something light!

Finally we're done at 2300hrs! Initally I told M that our itinerary includes shopping at KLCC, but seems like the trekking took up most of our time and we can't fulfill that this time. We left for Singapore at about 2330hrs, and we literally flew on the highway. It was raining partially on the highway, and we're all dead tired after a long and tiring day. Mad China boy sat in my car, while chief drove along. Sis S, m and Devil T sat in Devil D's car, cos his shocks ain't so bumpy like chief's and mine. They managed to catch some sleep and by the time there were about 100km left to Singapore, I'm already beginning to dozed off while driving. Devil D was driving behind me and he could see that I'm beginning to dozed off from the way I drive. Chief is also beginning to feel the tireness. So when we reach the petrol kisok for top up and left about 75km to Singapore, and cos Devil D will be driving back to JB while the rest goes to Singapore, M sat in my car, Mad China Boy in chief's car, and Devil T drive for Chief and Sis S drove for me. I'm too tired to drive anymore and Sis S asked if I trust her with my car. Like I have a choice! Hahahaha... :P
Boy was she a hell driver! Once out of the petrol kiosk, she floored the accelerator and reached the speed cut! The way she drive got me on my toes and for the 1st 30km, I can't sleep and had to be on the alert. I have to be sure that she can handle the car so that I can go to sleep in peace. After seeing the way she drives and handle my car in the rain, I finally slept! Still I gotta say she drives like a mad woman! Even Devil D said she drives quite "dangerously" and fast! When we reached our final petrol top up, we split ways with Chief and Bro N.
Devil T, Sis S and M in my car. Cos I've to drive Sis S to her office to pick up her car, and she'll be driving Devil T home. While I drive M home. Finally got home at 0330hrs! I didn't even bother to pack my car, only bringing out the dirty clothes to be washed. Took a bath and went straight to bed! I miss my bed so much!

So when we reach the petrol kisok for top up and left about 75km to Singapore, and cos Devil D will be driving back to JB while the rest goes to Singapore, M sat in my car, Mad China Boy in chief's car, and Devil T drive for Chief and Sis S drove for me. I'm too tired to drive anymore and Sis S asked if I trust her with my car. Like I have a choice! Hahahaha... :P
Boy was she a hell driver! Once out of the petrol kiosk, she floored the accelerator and reached the speed cut! The way she drive got me on my toes and for the 1st 30km, I can't sleep and had to be on the alert. I have to be sure that she can handle the car so that I can go to sleep in peace. After seeing the way she drives and handle my car in the rain, I finally slept! Still I gotta say she drives like a mad woman! Even Devil D said she drives quite "dangerously" and fast! When we reached our final petrol top up, we split ways with Chief and Bro N.
Devil T, Sis S and M in my car. Cos I've to drive Sis S to her office to pick up her car, and she'll be driving Devil T home. While I drive M home. Finally got home at 0330hrs! I didn't even bother to pack my car, only bringing out the dirty clothes to be washed. Took a bath and went straight to bed! I miss my bed so much!
