Spiegelau wine glass

Chief was already in Shanghai when Tereza and her mum went back to Shanghai. And She got him to bring back some wine glasses for me. She was suppose to bring it over before she come but didn't, cos she's transiting from Hong Kong, and she have quite a few luggage with her.

Good thing chief is in Shanghai and is able to bring it back. Total of 12 wine glasses.

6 are Spiegelau Soiree, large wine, for white wine, and also champagne (make do).

Height: 194mm
Capacity: 285ml 10 fl oz

Another 6 are Spiegelau Soiree, Bordeaux 52cl, the larger glass for red wine.

Height: 221mm
Capacity 515ml 18 1/4 flo oz

To be honest, I'm not one who knows how to appreciate wine. I use to indulge myself in red wine at home before going to sleep. Now it starts again after knowing Tereza. We talk about wine when she was here the past few visits. She also educate me on the different kind of wine glasses, wine, and how the wine taste from different countries. Afterall she's in this trade, she knows more than I do. It was quite an input in knowledge and just wine glasses alone is a wide area to look into.

In China, they are the distributor for Spiegelau glass ware, and recently in Macau and Hong Kong. Other than Spiegelau, they also do their own glass wares, with factories in China, Malaysia, Holland, and other parts of the world which I didn't ask much about.

Spiegelau wine glasses are made of crystal and they sound really clear and sharp, whereas the ones that The Wine Company uses are just normal glass, hollow sound. And the different kind of glass will bring different taste to the wine. There are also different kind of glass for different wine.

Her next visit, she will bringing me some champagne glasses. Champagne are the ones that makes you drunk easily! ;)

Now who wanna join me in a wine drinking session? ;)
