The Fresh Bread Shop

Today went to PS's carpark and accidentally reverse too much and hit my exhaust against the ledge and went over it. Was so in a hurry and my music wasloud thus I didn't even hear the exhaust knocking and going over the ledge. End up the piping went out of shaped after I tried to get it unstuck. Tried to drive out but it was held onto by the ledge. Bugger!

Head down to the Imperial Powershp immediately and got them to bend it back. Seems like the flang got dented and adjusting the bars won't help much. Went over to Fong Kim and got them to change a stainless steel centre pipe, redo the flang and have the exhaust all in position again. Damage to the pocket, SGD200! Double Bugger!

The only consolation is a nicer stainless steel 3 inch centre pipe, 1 inch thicker than the stock centre pipe. Flow is better and the sound of the exhaust is not that much like a motor boat, which many people say my car sounds like! Hahahaha... ;P Also it's suppose to help in the pull of the car when launch and also a better flow during acceleration. Been driving around in the evening and it did feel better during acceleration and the bass of the exhaust is not that ear-piercing and motor boat alike. Sounds more like how a decent N1 exhaust should sound like, loud and bassy, yet not ear-piercing.

Spent the whole afternoon in IP till late evening, as usual. Hang around chit-chat with the gang and met up with another Airtrek owner, whom I've seen often at MB. He happens to be the group of 3 which 1 of them we met before at another workshop and mentioned that another 2 of his friends also own an Airtrek, white and black (he's is red). He's an owner of a pub near MB, which is the reason why we always see their car around MB. And because we hang around at MB often, they spotted our Airtreks as well. Seems like more and more people are owning Airtrek. Just 1 day, I bumped 3 new Airtreks and invited them to join us at our weekly gathering. This group is growing fast, and we've new members almost every week. The question now is, how commited are they to join us in our weekly/monthly activities or gathering, for events or track days.
And it seems like only a small group of us are close knitted.

Anyway, at IP, they bought some bread for tea and it's not the usual bread you see at bread talk or what-so-ever. these bread are from, 'The Fresh Bread Shop'. Small, mouthful size, and with different flavour and fillings such as, egg mayo, cheese, kaya, custard and sugar topping. Not so filling and it's rather delicious for breads. Would make good tea break snacks since it's not so filling. Next time shall buy back for my family to try, if I pass by any outlets. ;)
