Music to my ears

Because of the urge to change my phone, there's still time for me to wander around before going for the meet up. So decided to head down to Parkway Parade after work. Apparently, the queue is so long and I don't think I'm patient enough to wait. So end up without checking anything. Good in a sense, if not would be another impulsive buying.

Anyway, another objective is to get a CD-R to burn Andy's ROM photos. 2 hours to spare, might as well go for my foot and back massage, which will take like 1 hour more (Yesterday eyebrow shaping, aromatic facial, and now foot & Back massage! Hahahaha...). Since it's gonna take some time, head back to the car, grab my ibook so that I could burn the photos into the CD-R. Make use of time. ;)

On the way back to the car, walked into Sembawang Music, came out with 3 CD albums and $70 poorer. Talk about impulsive buying! Hahahaha.... :P

Got myself a Depeche Mode album. I actually bought their latest album about 2 weeks back when It was out. But this copy comes with a DVD, that plays all the songs in PCM stereo, DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround! Also includes a video of making the album, 'Precious' and 'Clean' video, and Photo gallery! How to resisit when I'm such a fan, RIGHT?! :P

Tried out the album in DTS 5.1! IT SURE IS WORTH IT!

The one on the left is what I got 2 weeks back. The one on the right is the one with additional DVD.

Another album I bought is Jay Chou's 'November's Chopin'. SO NOT ME, RIGHT! Hahahahah... 1st chinese album I bought for 8 years! The last album I bought was when I'm in Taiwan. :P

My friends were surprised I would buy a chinese album, and thought I like Jay. Honestly, I don't like him, neither do I dislike him. Why I buy this album is because of the advertising of his album on TV and it seems to be a good album to listen to. Since I do listen to a few of his songs, no harm buying this and give it a try. Moreover it comes with a VCD with a few MTV of his songs, plus some calender cards. Listened to it in the car, not bad. Sounds more mature than his previous songs, deeper mellow feeling to it.

And lastly, Ministry of Sound's Dance Nation! Must be the influence of partying lately. Hehehe... :P
I do listen to trance, electronica, and alternatives. And this album more or less puts everything into it.
Groups like Chemical brother, Basement Jaxx, Fatboy Slim, Freestylers, Paul Van Dyk, which I do listen to, and more. 2 discs album and heaps of bass! I likey! Oh.. It comes with 2 complimentary entry pass to Ministry of Sound when it opens @ Clarke Quay! It's party time!

By the way, this is one group which takes me quite some time to find. BLUE MAN GROUP! I'd tried most of the CD stores here but they just don't have their albums. And one day while surfing, went to their website to update abit on them, and they have online shopping!! Yipeeeeee! No wait no more! Ordered both their 'Audio' and 'The Complex' albums, their 'The Complex Rock Tour Live' DVD, and it comes with a single 'I Feel Love' featuring Venus Hum. Also got a trucker cap and sticker. Paid a price for this due to the shipping, but no regrets! If not where the hell in Singapore can I find all these?

Got to know about this group during my trip to USA about 4-5 years back. Visited my friend in Vegas and they had a few shows in one of the Casino in Vegas. My friend treated me to their performance and it's one performance I will never forget! Till you see their performance, you'll realize Stomp and other similiar bands/Groups are no where near them!
